(Open hole exploratory drilling)

ARI provides test drilling services to assist property owners in identifying the location and quantity of rock resource on their land, and to assist in mine planning.

In addition to traditional test drilling, which logs soil conditions by penetration rate and visual observation of drill cuttings, Aggregate Resource Industries’ fleet of Smart Drills have Measure While Drilling capability. This feature generates a visual report of penetration, percussion, feed, flush, which can interpolate data to determine material strata and hardness throughout each test bore hole.

• DTH Drill Rigs from 5.5” – 6.75” optimal open hole diameters

  • Dust collection systems with large particle cyclones for material sampling from the cyclone discharge

  • Optional sampling systems that can be added on for more precise sampling out of the cyclone

• Rotary Drill Rigs from 5.5” – 6.75” with same sampling capabilities as the DTH method.

• Reverse Core

  • Drill Rigs are capable of upfitting to RC drills
