Executive Assistant to CEO

ARI is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CEO.  This position will provide administrative support with the primary goal of increasing the productivity, efficiency and focus of the CEO.

The Executive Assistant must be willing to stretch beyond his or her comfort zones to take on new roles as the company is experiencing rapid growth.

COMPENSATION

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)

  • Pre-employment drug test and physical. We conduct random drug tests and post-accident drug testing. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.

 SKILLS PREFERRED

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve complex project issues

  • Attention to detail with strong organization and follow-up skills

  • Adaptable/embraces new technology

  • Self-starter with ability to learn new concepts quickly and ability to stay focused and work without close supervision

  • Works well in a team environment as well as independently

 JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a new position within ARI. The tasks listed below are subject to change, and are provided only to illustrate the variety of tasks that may be assigned to the Executive Assistant.

  • Attend daily leadership team meetings, take meeting minutes and lead the scheduling and follow-up for action items arising from the meetings. Report key details to CEO.

  • Work with division operation managers to report daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s to CEO

  • Optimize the CEO’s calendar, schedule all appointments. Filter visitors and unplanned interruptions in a way that balances corporate culture and scheduled demands.

  • Assist the CEO in maintaining the family culture of the company, including celebrating employee birthdays and anniversaries

  • Assist CEO with preparing and executing company initiatives, including ESG (Environment, Social and Corporate Governance) and Strategic Plan

  • Assist CEO and Human Resources in recruiting and hiring key employees

  • Monitor all external channels to ensure brand continuity (website, email signatures, mailings, advertising, social media, etc), and ensure active engagement in social media channels

  • Assist the CEO in corporate giving decisions

  • Order and Distribute company swag to employees, customers and vendors

  • Work with Human Resources to ensure new hires are appropriately onboarded and continually engaged with company culture

  • Assist the CEO with errands and transportation

  • Assist Human Resources with technology deployment (e.g. mobile apps, cell phone and computer setup)

  • Plan and execute events (e.g. Christmas party, Summer picnic, etc)

  • Ensure the corporate office is clean and orderly

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Voluntary Insurance- We offer a voluntary insurance program for Critical Illness, Accident Protection, Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance.

  • 401k - ARI matches 100% of the first 3% of your salary that you contribute, and 50% of the amount that exceeds 3%, up to 5% of your annual earnings. In addition, ARI may make a profit-sharing contribution to your account at the end of the plan year.

  • Paid Time Off - ARI provides 40 hours of annual paid time off (PTO) that is available for use after 90 days of employment. For every full year of service at ARI, PTO accrual increases by 8 hours.

  • Paid Holidays - ARI provides 6 paid holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
