PURCHASING AGENT
Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. (ARI) is seeking a full time Purchasing Agent to build and maintain a premier purchasing program to accommodate the Company’s continued growth and expanding purchasing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of four years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, construction or related field
Experience with diesel and off-road parts sourcing.
Experience with ERP accounting software and adaptability to evolving technology. ARI’s inventory system is electronic, including QR coded bin systems, electronic reporting, and tracking through an enterprise accounting system (Viewpoint). Candidate must be comfortable with paperless processes and electronic reporting/communication.
Pre-employment drug test and physical. We conduct random drug tests and post-accident drug testing. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to maximize cost savings, maintain product quality and ensure timely delivery
Develop supplier qualification process to efficiently and effectively on-board new suppliers and continuously evaluate supplier relationships for performance
Assume responsibility for all purchase orders issued by ARI
Establish and monitor purchasing department budgets
Negotiate and perform conflict resolution when needed for all purchasing contracts
Continually evaluate the purchasing process in order to implement faster and more efficient processes in compliance with our company goals and quality standards
Drive cost savings initiatives for assigned categories; establish and meet cost reduction and performance goals
Ensure the right quantities and qualities of goods and services including consumables, supplies and spare parts are on order and that the delivery dates are in-line with the goals provided
Continually communicate with equipment operators and mechanics to ensure supply requirements are in alignment with equipment uptime and availability goals

BENEFITS
Paid Time Off - 40 hours of annual paid time off (PTO) is available for use after 90 days of employment. For every full year of service at ARI, PTO accrual increases by 8 hours.
Paid Holidays - New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are paid holidays.
Health Insurance - Health insurance is available at a cost of $20/month for the employee portion of the basic plan. We also cover 50% of the buy-up cost for two plans that have lower deductibles.
Vision Insurance - 100% of employee premiums are paid by ARI
Dental Insurance - 25% of employee premiums for dental insurance are paid by ARI
Teledoc- We offer Teledoc, which is a convenient option for employees to seek medical care. Using TeleDoc, you can call or Facetime a doctor to be treated for cold and flu symptoms, respiratory infection, sinus problems and more. This service is provided as a free benefit with no co-pays or medical office fees.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)- Employees are given the option to contribute a portion of their earnings, pre-tax, into a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). They can use the funds contributed to their account to pay for qualified medical or dependent care expenses that are not covered by insurance.
401k - We match 100% of the first 3% of your salary that you contribute, and 50% of the amount that exceeds 3%, up to 5% of your annual earnings. In addition, we may make a profit-sharing contribution to your account at the end of the plan year.
